Brewer High School

Shreyassu Handral, a freshman at Brewer High School, recently received Third Prize in the Bill Taylor Essay Contest sponsored by the Camden Conference. Shreyassu's essay, “A Polluted India’s Crisis,” explored India’s mounting environmental and public health concerns. The contest committee commented that the essay "was concise and well-supported. Moreover, you devoted a commendable amount of effort to the proposal of solutions, particularly those related to heavy metal pollution. It’s easy to get mired in the negative, and your paper so eloquently defines the positive steps that must be taken." Congratulations, Shreyassu. Well done! Go Witches!
