Having all of the children and staff back in the classroom and hearing the pitter patter of feet as they go down the corridors has made for an amazing two weeks.
Things at BCS have been busy already! On top of academics, students and teachers have also been reviewing expectations, practicing routines and building community. We have conducted two effective evacuation rehearsals, with outstanding collaboration from all of the students and staff. We want to thank students, staff, and families for a great start to the 2024-2025 school year!
All picture day packets were sent home with students this week and Picture Day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18. Online pre-orders are encouraged by Geskus Photo Company as there are more background options and numerous cost-saving bundles available. The front of the order packets that were sent home with the students contains the order code. If you don't have access to a computer, or would rather not send in a check or cash, their Customer Service Department can also handle orders over the phone. Callers should dial 1-800-948-1120, extension 1. If your child forgets to turn in their order form on picture day, they can also be submitted to Geskus at the following address:

Picture retake day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30th for new students, staff members, transfer students, or for anyone who may have missed initial picture day. Retake day can also be for anyone who was unhappy with their original picture and would like to give it another try. Just remember to have your child return the original picture package to the photographer on retake picture day.
We want to remind parents/guardians if you have not already completed the annual 'first day paperwork' that your student would traditionally bring home, it is now available online through Infinite Campus. Attached below are step-by-step instructions for accessing and completing these forms. There is also a number to call for help, just in case.
