Join me in congratulating Brewer School's David Utterback on being named athletic director of the year for 2021-2022.
There couldn't be a more meaningful time to have been recognized for this award. During the pandemic Mr. Utterback led his peers in figuring out how to provide and fund a live streaming service so that everyone could watch and support our student athletes. Further, he figured out ways to keep them active and on the field of play at every twist and turn that COVID provided. He added E-sports to the Brewer options, and organized and coached our Unified Basketball team, and continued to seek out more ways and activities to engage our kids in.
