Dear Brewer School Community Families and Staff,
We have had a strong early response to the announcement that there will be a free, local COVID-19 vaccination clinic run by our partners at Penobscot Community Health Center (PCHC) to be held on Saturday, November 13 for any students ages 5 and up. The clinic will be run out of the Brewer Community School. The plan is to have families park and enter through the rear of the Performing Arts Center (PAC), but there will be signage on that Saturday to help direct people. The clinic will run from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
Please fill out this Vaccination Survey, ages 5+ if you intend to bring your student(s). No emails or other information is being collected when you answer this survey. PCHC just needs to know how many doses of the Pfizer vaccine they should bring.
The consent form you need for every person receiving a vaccine, and an informational sheet, are both linked here:

Further, there will be a public forum where pediatricians share information about young students receiving a Pfizer vaccine. Below is the information:
"Pediatricians Share: What Parents Need to Know about the COVID-19 Vaccine for Children."
This forum will feature Maine pediatricians as they share information about children and the COVID-19 vaccine and give advice on what to consider when making the decision to vaccinate children against COVID-19. There will be time for questions from the audience.
This event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9 from 6--7:15pm and will be held on Zoom.

I wanted to get you everything anyone who is interested might need in one place. So in this email you have the survey to let us know if you intend to bring your student(s) to the November 13 vaccine clinic so that PCHC has the correct number of doses, links to an informational sheet and the consent form you will need to fill out and bring with you for every student getting a vaccine, and a link to register for a public webinar where Maine pediatricians will discuss the vaccine for children.
