In a North regional final, the Brewer High School field hockey team beat perennial State champ Skowhegan 3-0 to advance to the State of Maine final versus the South champion Cheverus, who is finished their regular season 16-0.

This is the Witches first State final, and they have had an exception few years culminating with a second seed and then beating the one seed Riverhawks in their North matchup.

Win, lose, or draw, the lady Witches, with Coach of the Year Jamie Emerson, have made a loud statement about belonging at the top of the best field hockey programs in Maine.
