Lego Legends 32423 placed first out of 12 teams that competed in the 2024 Maine Robot Track Meet that was held at Brewer High School on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The team combines students from Brewer Community School and the Fruit Street School in Bangor. The seven events participated in were Fastest Robot, Walking Robot, Strongest Robot, Steeplechase, Ping Pong Shot put, Table Clearing, and Speed Build.
The team was supported by the Brewer High School Orange Chaos Robotics Team when they lent the Lego team their facilities to build and test the robots. Lego Legends also engaged in fundraising with Orange Chaos to help offset the costs of competing.
The Brewer School Department is proud of these students and teams and looks forward to many years of successful robotics programming and competitions!
